Job summary

VCI Construction is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team in California. You will lead crews installing and maintaining underground telecom systems, ensure safety protocols, and keep projects on schedule.

The role emphasizes training crew members, reading blueprints, coordinating with property owners, and operating heavy equipment in all weather. Competitive weekly pay and strong benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent, plus related work experience.
• At least three years of related work experience; Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure safety policies, OSHA and DOT regulations are followed.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work and resolve issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
