Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team in the Santee area. You will lead crews in installing and maintaining underground telecom systems, ensuring safety protocols and project timelines are met, and you will communicate with property owners as needed.

Responsibilities include supervising day-to-day activities, training crew members, reading blueprints, and enforcing OSHA/DOT safety standards in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• A valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Help with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues.
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
