Job summary

Betacom Inc. is seeking a Tower Foreman in Atlanta, GA to supervise and perform daily construction duties on telecommunication sites. You will lead a 2-4 person crew, plan and coordinate work, read site plans, and ensure safety compliance and timely project completion.

Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, selecting materials and equipment, inspecting installs, and preparing closeout packages. Strong English communication and prior tower/construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years or more of related tower and construction experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills (English).
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license; reliable transportation.
• Ability to accommodate out-of-town travel, if required.
• Experience with Anritsu Site Master, Andrew, PPC, towermapping and antenna equipment.
• Must have knowledge of safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a crew of 2-4 members.
• Provide suggestions and recommendations for hiring, firing, and training of employees.
• Provide suggestions and recommendations for employee advancements, compensation, promotions, production, efficiency, or other status changes.
• Full understanding of a job or project scope (SOW).
• Full understanding of MOPs and practices; write detailed MOPs.
• Schedule employee work and work hours for assigned employees.
• Direct and plan the work of assigned employees.
• Determine proper project techniques for assigned employees.
• Maintain job records for supervision and control.
• Work with Superintendent or Construction Manager to determine materials, equipment, and tools.
• Read, interpret, and build according to design site plans and layouts.
• Control the flow and distribution of materials and supplies.
• Plan and control the job budgets.
• Manage all data in Betacom tools (SiteManager) and custom tools.
• Ensure safety and security of employees and company assets.
• Perform inspection of installs; troubleshoot and provide closeout packages.
