FiberTel, LLC in Portland is seeking a Project Manager to oversee maintenance and construction of telecommunications facilities. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of projects. Comcast experience is a plus.

The role offers annual pay of $80,000–$110,000 DOE, with a hybrid approach possible in some cases and opportunities for travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with telecommunication providers in the Bay Area.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Project and applicable Engineering programs.
• Must be okay with full-time travel.
• Good written and oral communication.

Aufgaben

• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions to contractual agreements.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff, workers, and clients.
• Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with construction or maintenance.
• Take action to deal with delays, bad weather, or emergencies at site.
• Inspect projects to monitor compliance with codes and regulations.
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Select and oversee workers who complete project pieces.
