The role emphasizes design to constructability, sequencing, and bid-package development for telecom and low voltage work on site, requiring strong communication and leadership throughout internal teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent construction experience.
• Minimum 8 years experience in Electrical engineering or 15 years in construction management for industrial projects.
• General understanding of construction means, methods, codes and standards.
• Experience interpreting low voltage electrical drawings and specs for construction.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership resolving in-progress design and constructability concerns related to engineering drawings and specs.
• Identify opportunities for schedule and cost savings based on design or modularization.
• Identify trade partners for early contractor engagement.
• Organize cross-discipline evaluation of telecom and low voltage for construction sequencing.
• Identify risks for long lead construction activities and align with schedules.
• Develop and review construction bid packages for contractor awards.
• Coordinate across stakeholders for full WBS of the project.
• Review Vendor Data Requirements submittals for constructability impacts.
