Job summary

Anistar Technologies is seeking a Telecom Mechanic 2 to operate and maintain telephony switches in Puget Sound, WA. The role requires Secret Clearance and IAT Level II Certification. Job Title: Telecom Mechanic 2

Work Location: Puget Sound, WA

Pay: $36.44

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include:

• Operate and maintain government-owned telephony switches (PBX), including troubleshooting and repair of switch issues, software updates and patching, installation and configuration of switch hardware, daily operation monitoring, support for voicemail systems and IPE (Remote Intelligent Peripheral Equipment).
• Utilize company vehicle to travel to remote locations weekly.
• Ensure switch systems remain fully operational and compliant with DoD/Navy standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in IT or Cybersecurity (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; 5 years preferred.
• Prior experience within DoD networks.

Required Skills or Certifications

• Nortel Meridian System Administration or equivalent.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent.
