Our client is one of the largest Telecommunication Vendors in DMV with a significant presence across the East Coast. They offer comprehensive turnkey solutions for both wireless and wireline sectors, supporting major carriers.

We are seeking an experienced or junior-level equipment mechanic to service telecommunications equipment. This equipment may be used by aerial or underground construction teams and includes items like Excavators, Dump Trucks, Small Cell Gear, etc. While most equipment is diesel-powered, a background in diesel mechanics is advantageous. However, mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential. The mechanic will work closely with the Foreman of the equipment yard.

This role offers exposure to the telecommunications industry and cutting-edge 5G technology.

Top Skills (Ideal Candidate)

1. At least 1 year of experience in OSP telecommunications construction maintenance, including small engines, diesel, and small tools.
2. Experience with small tool repair, engine diagnosis and repair, hydraulics, electrical systems, welding, and metal fabrication (trailer repair/hookup experience is sufficient).
3. Reliability, strong work ethic, teamwork, and a willingness to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits
