GC&E Federal is seeking a CSR I&R

The candidate will work within our team to support our government Information Technology (IT) and Inside and Outside Plant program with our client. As an OSP Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful operations and maintenance of the Telecommunications team at Tobyhanna Army Depot.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Support the Customer Service Telephone [Customer Service Representative Installation and Repair (CSR/I&R)] and OSP service requests, trouble tickets, PMCS of maintenance holes, telephone poles, pedestals, and other requirements.
• Create, validate, and update NIPRNET diagrams and cable pair/strand counts on cable plant drawings for leased and government-owned circuits.
• Plan and manage circuit installation and maintenance services for Army tenant activities.
• Install, de-install, maintain, repair, and test various communication cables including coaxial, fiber optics, and copper/conventional cables.

Physical Requirements

• Primarily outdoors environment
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, reach, and stoop
• Proficiency in speaking, writing, reading, and understanding English
• Frequent computer use for extended periods
• Ability to work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
• Visual acuity
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
