Job summary

Congruex is hiring a Lineman to build and maintain telecommunications systems, both aerial and underground. The role involves reading orders, performing cable work between poles, and operating power equipment.

You will be involved in emergency responses, safety compliance, and daily production reporting. Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather and pass required certifications.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and MVR
• Extensive knowledge of approved practices, procedures, tools, and materials used in telecom line construction
• Identify differences in wire and cable colors
• Ability to climb structures and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains major cable systems and structures.
• Reads work orders and drawings to determine tasks in sequence.
• Lays and strings wire/cable between poles and underground facilities.
• Operates power equipment and test devices related to telecom construction.
• Responds to emergencies and outages with safe, efficient execution.
