Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Lineman to construct, repair, and maintain aerial and underground telecom infrastructure. You will perform line construction, maintenance, and emergency restoration while upholding safety and quality standards, supporting daily field operations.

Travel 10-15% as required, with customers including Congruex project teams and utility clients. The role requires CDL, a valid driver’s license, and a DOT medical card, plus experience in telecom line construction and operating

Qualifications

• Knowledge of telecommunications construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and construction documents.
• Ability to distinguish wire and cable color codes.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call schedules as required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and maintain aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure, including cable, strand, poles, anchors, and associated hardware.
• Read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, specifications, and construction prints to complete assigned work accurately.
• Operate construction equipment including aerial lifts, hydraulic equipment, compressors, pumps, and related tools.
• Complete emergency restoration, maintenance, outage response, and system rebuild activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Complete daily production reports, As-Built documentation, and maintain accurate project records.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and all applicable customer and regulatory standards.
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs.
