Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking an IT Support professional in Chicago to provide on-demand help desk assistance, record activity, and coordinate with vendors for service delivery. The role supports end users across telecoms, networking, and devices, with a focus on rapid issue resolution and clear documentation.

Qualified candidates have an associates degree and up to 3 years of tech experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• 0–3 years in computer technologies and systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-demand phone support from the call center for technical inquiries.
• Record time spent on tasks within the Service Desk platform.
• Use Intervals for recording time spent on tasks and projects.
• Resolve telecommunications issues to ensure connectivity.
• Coordinate with vendors to address service issues and provisioning.
• Travel for on-site support during acquisitions and dispositions of communities.
• Adhere to SLA agreements and ensure timely resolution of tickets.
• Follow up with end users to confirm satisfaction with resolutions.
• Collaborate with teams to restore service and document resolutions.
• Support and maintain systems, including account and user management.
• Assist with IT projects, data entry, and hardware swaps.
• Document system changes and escalate significant changes to Tier 3.
• Consult with end users to determine system needs before hardware changes.
• Help new employees with first-time login and day-one questions.
• Provide support for mobile devices, phones, and networking issues.
