Job summary

Clarity Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a Tier I/II IT support specialist to assist end users via remote and on-site sessions. You will support Windows and Office 365, deploy new devices, and document incidents while delivering superior customer service.

The role involves remote work from the Chicago area with periodic client-site visits and occasional training in Madison, WI, with travel expenses reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to solve problems and learn quickly.
• Experience with Windows and Office 365 is helpful.
• Experience with building desktops and hardware troubleshooting is helpful.
• 1–2 years of prior technical support preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in IT preferred.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide general IT support to end users via remote support sessions and on-site.
• Support Microsoft technologies including Windows and Office 365.
• Configure and deploy new laptop and desktop systems.

Job description

You are a strong communicator who enjoys helping others.

You are a skilled problem solver who is always looking to sink your teeth into something new.

This is a Tier I/Tier II position focused primarily on supporting Windows Desktop and Microsoft Office 365. You will work with users over the phone, over remote support sessions, and in-person on-site at our client's locations as needed. Additionally, you may be asked to help with IT related projects including technology deployments, migrations and upgrades.

This position is work from home in the Chicago Area with on-site visits to client sites as needed. Average 3-4 client site visits per week lasting 1-4 hours each. There will also be periodic opportunities for in-person training and collaboration in Madison, WI. All travel expenses, including mileage to/from client sites paid.

We strongly encourage skill development in this position and additional responsibilities are available asyour knowledge and experience expand.
