Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Telecom Foreman to oversee the installation of communications cabling and equipment in line with plans, codes, and standards. You will lead crews, coordinate with management, and ensure safety and quality on the jobsite.

The role requires 8+ years in commercial communications, a high school diploma or GED, and BICSI Technician certification. A valid driver’s license, background check, and ability to obtain clearance are required.

Qualifications

8+ years prior experience in commercial communications industry.
High School diploma or GED is required.
BICSI Technician certification is desirable; willingness to obtain it is expected.
Possesses a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Successfully pass a background check and drug test.
Have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.

Responsibilities

Installation of low voltage cabling and telecom equipment per plans and standards.
Manage small to large projects with crews of 5+ personnel across locations.
Coordinate with senior management to resolve work procedure issues and construction problems.
Schedule project steps to meet deadlines and budget.
Train and supervise technicians/apprentices in a team environment.
Perform quality assurance checks on team work and maintain a clean work site.
