Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced Telecom Foreman to lead the installation of communications cabling and equipment per plans and codes. You will oversee crews, ensure safety, and coordinate with management to resolve issues on-site across multiple locations.

The role requires knowledge of telecom systems, strong leadership, and the ability to interpret blueprints. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen; US Secret clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in commercial communications industry.
• BICSI Technician.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Ability to obtain US Secret clearance; US Citizenship may be required.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; wear PPE.
• Lead and supervise crews on multiple sites.
• Schedule projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Interpret plans/specifications for field workers.
• Ensure proper install/termination per BICSI and TIA/EIA standards.
• Troubleshoot and test low voltage cabling (fiber, Cat5/6).
• Maintain tool sets and secure company equipment.
