Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC in Georgia is seeking a Construction Supervisor to oversee field crews and subcontractors, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and per contract specifications.

You’ll maintain daily production records, inspect trucks and equipment, participate in calls with operations and customers, and build positive working relationships while meeting safety and quality goals.

Proficiency with Microsoft tools and maps is valued, CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 3+ years of experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry.
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
• Basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilities
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc), Google applications, and/or other construction related software applications
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
• Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call)

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and supervise employees and subcontractors in placement/repair work per contract specs.
• Ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met.
• Maintain daily production sheets and reporting.
• Inspect trucks and equipment for defects.
• Participate in daily/weekly calls with operations and customers.
• Resolve complaints.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
• Maintain positive working relationships internally and externally
