Job summary
Ledcor Technical Services, a North America network contractor, is seeking a Superintendent to lead daily field operations. You will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards while executing project plans, maintaining site safety, and guiding field staff, contractors, and tradespeople.
Your leadership will keep projects moving smoothly, with 80% travel across multiple states.
Qualifications
- Telecommunications construction Superintendent experience (1–3 years)
- Underground fiber installation experience (Plow/HDD) preferred
- Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related field
- Familiarity with construction documents, drawings, specs, and practices
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to supervise craft employees and subcontractors
- Problem-solving and proactive issue resolution
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
Responsibilities
- Ensure projects meet approved plans, specs, and codes
- Develop and oversee Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs
- Review and update construction schedules, address delays
- Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects
- Monitor financial aspects of the project and reporting
- Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection and negotiations
- Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and superintendents
