Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain telecommunications equipment and fiber/copper plant for customers. You will service outside plant facilities and customer premises while engaging with clients to promote services.

You will handle cable splicing, fault repair, network support, and project-based installations, with on-call duties, travel, and overtime as needed. A sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of technical telecommunications experience or honorable military service
• 6+ months of fiber optic/copper splicing, installation, and repair training
• Valid driver's license with ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Strong understanding of fiber and copper plant installation, troubleshooting, and telecom products/services
• Proficiency with MS Office and related databases
• Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and independent decision-making skills
• Willingness to work on-call, travel occasionally, and overtime as needed
• Ability to pass background checks, safety courses, and meet DOT requirements

Responsibilities

• Install, test, splice, repair, and maintain telecommunications equipment and infrastructure
• Respond to troubleshooting dispatches and support network operations
• Locate and repair cable faults, including pole climbing and operating construction equipment
• Support record-keeping and project management for system installations
• Engage proactively with customers to identify needs and promote services
