Job summary

You will enforce safety rules, manage field crews and equipment, and collaborate with partners to meet budgets and schedules. A minimum of 3–5 years in telecom construction with supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of telecom cable construction experience (aerial or underground).
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven track record of safe work practices and quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily activities of a team of technicians or workers in telecom cable construction projects to ensure project execution as per timelines, quality and cost.
• Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations, certifications, and company policies to ensure safety standards and compliance with regulations.
• Assign tasks and schedules to team members including ITG employees and partner employees, ensuring correct resource allocation and equipment availability.
• Monitor work progress and quality, ensuring adherence to project timelines and standards.
• Provide training and guidance to team members, including linemen and drillers.
• Address and resolve operational issues as they arise, including on-site customer interactions.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management review to enable timely decision making and intervention for improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety practices.
