Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of telecom cable construction experience (aerial or underground).
• Experience in construction fiber splicing (aerial or underground).
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily activities of a telecom cable construction team to meet timelines, quality and cost.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain safety standards.
• Assign tasks and schedules to team members and ensure equipment availability.
• Monitor progress and quality to adhere to timelines and standards.
• Provide training and guidance to linemen and drillers.
• Address and resolve operational issues on-site and in interactions with customers.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for management review.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks.
