Job summary

TelCom Construction is seeking a Traveling Field Supervisor to oversee day-to-day project operations, providing clear communication and leadership to Foremen and crews on the job site. You will supervise field activities, ensure quality, safety, and timely completion, and report progress to project managers.

The position requires strong supervisory experience in utility construction, the ability to organize resources, and frequent travel with a valid CDL and driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Previous utility construction crew leadership experience is required.
• Experience working with telecommunication MSA contracts is strongly preferred.
• Good computer skills specifically database software and Excel.
• Prior experience working with google applications is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
• Local work with occasional travel.
• A valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.
• Class A CDL license is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day to day operations
• Job completion of assigned projects
• Provide communication and leadership to job Foremen and crew members
• Organizing materials, equipment, and labor
• Verifying locates, materials and billings
• Providing all required job reporting
• Completing as-builts and redlines
• Actively participating in and taking responsibility for safety, maintenance, production and personnel related initiatives
• Other duties as assigned.
