Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is hiring a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to run drill equipment and install underground telecommunications cables. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and maintain bore schedules while working outdoors in various conditions.

Ideal candidates have a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or willing to obtain), and prior drilling equipment experience. Benefits include weekly pay, PTO, healthcare, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore setup/design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Use Mud mixing systems as required.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
