Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator in Michigan. You’ll operate drill equipment to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure, following safety standards and site plans.

You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and maintain equipment while working in varied weather. The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork in a field operations environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with relevant work experience.
• Experience operating drilling equipment and maintaining safety standards.
• CDL class A license preferred and driving record clear.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize Mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
