Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to operate drill equipment for installing underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore path, locate utilities, safely control equipment, pothole to verify paths, use mud mixing systems, and maintain bore schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore operations.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
