Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is hiring a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You’ll operate drill equipment, determine bore paths, verify utilities, and maintain a bore schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean DMV record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore operations.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Utilize mud mixing systems
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
