Job summary

Star Construction, LLC seeks a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, operate drilling equipment, and verify utilities while maintaining bore schedules and performing site setup and maintenance.

You will work outdoors in all weather, with duties expanding as needed. A valid CDL A with tanker endorsement is preferred or willingness to obtain it, alongside a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore path design.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all drilling equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
