Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and related infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and operate drilling equipment safely in various conditions.

The role emphasizes maintaining bore schedules, performing site setup/cleanup, and ensuring equipment readiness. A valid CDL; and willingness to obtain tanker endorsement are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, bore path design and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all required drilling equipment.
• Verify utilities by potholing to confirm bore paths.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• responsible for site setup, cleanup and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
