Job summary

Henderson Engineers seeks a Lead Telecom Designer to advance complex building systems designs in our Mission Critical practice. You will mentor staff, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and guide projects from concept through completion.

You’ll apply your strong Revit and design standards knowledge, contribute to client relationships, and help grow the business through technical leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 9–10 years of relevant experience.
• Certifications aligned with the field (e.g., BEMP, CPD, CDP, NICET, RCDD) preferred.
• FE exam completion preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering design, codes, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or direct the preparation of design documents, layouts, drawings, schematics and specs.
• Lead project and design efforts from concept through completion.
• Mentor and supervise design staff, providing technical guidance and oversight.
• Ensure drawings and reports meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with partners and customers to expand opportunities.
