Job summary

Henderson Engineers in the United States is seeking a Lead Telecom Design Engineer within its Mission Critical practice to design advanced building systems, prepare design documents and perform engineering calculations in coordination with project teams.

You will mentor and lead others, participate in business development and risk management, and oversee design quality while coordinating with clients and stakeholders to meet scope, schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 9+ years of experience, or 10+ years with a high school diploma.
• Certifications such as BEMP, CPD, CDP, NICET, RCDD are preferred.
• FE exam completion is preferred.
• Proficiency in engineering design and A&E industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or direct design documents, layouts, drawings and specs.
• Lead project from concept through completion.
• Review shop drawings for conformance with plans.
• Mentor and supervise junior designers and engineers.
