Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Lead Telecom Designer for our Mission Critical practice in the United States. The role focuses on designing advanced building systems, mentoring staff, and coordinating with project teams and external partners.

You will supervise designers, contribute to business development, and ensure drawings and calculations meet industry standards and project constraints. Strong Revit and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Design and engineering knowledge across building systems.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating project efforts.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and manage client relationships.
• Proficiency with Revit and drawing/document controls.

Responsibilities

• Direct or prepare complex design documents, layouts and schematics.
• Lead design efforts from concept through completion with multidisciplinary teams.
• Review drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Mentor junior designers and coordinate project staffing.
• Develop client relationships and support business development.
• Ensure quality, scope, schedule and cost targets are met.
