Job summary

Henderson Engineers, a leading engineering firm, seeks a Lead Telecom Designer for our Mission Critical practice in the US. You will design advanced building systems, prepare design documents, and mentor design staff.

You’ll lead projects from concept to completion, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, review drawings, and help expand client relationships while staying current with codes and trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of engineering and 9–10 years of experience or 10+ years with HS diploma required.
• FE exam completion preferred; sustainability certifications (LEED, CDP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents, system layouts, drawings and specifications.
• Lead project and design efforts from concept to completion.
• Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate scope, schedule, and quality with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop client relationships and support new opportunities.
