Job summary

Ritter Communications is seeking a Customer Care Representative to support residential customers with billing and service questions. The CCR analyzes billing inquiries, assists with account changes and promotes services to drive upgrades.

You will handle calls and emails, maintain accurate records and deliver excellent service in a fast-paced telecommunications environment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus one-year previous customer service experience is required.
• Ability to interpret and explain retail billing invoices and collection experience preferred.
• Professional dress and well-groomed appearance expected.
• Ability to multitask and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Answers internal and external residential customer calls and emails about billing, pricing, product information, and availability.
• Checks the customer service email queue daily; responds to emails or follows up with calls.
• Educates customers on eligibility for Lifeline and the Affordable Connectivity programs.
• Balances cash drawer and processes payments securely; maintains confidentiality of customer information.
• Develops relationships with customers in person, on the phone or via email, and resolves inquiries timely.
