Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with billing questions. You will work with a team to meet call center goals and provide excellent service while using CRM tools and MS Office.

The role requires clear communication, professional presentation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Bilingual skills are a plus; some overnight or weekend shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously per company procedures.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, social media, fax, or in person.
• Identify reasons for service changes or cancellations and attempt retention.
• Provide information on service options, charges, billing, contracts, and solutions.
• Log and record information on customer accounts and create work orders as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues and billing tasks.
• Process payments and assist with RumpkePay as needed.
• Ensure issues are resolved and communicated clearly to customers.
