Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an experienced Telecom Superintendent for a data center project in Boydton, VA. You will lead subcontractors and field teams, ensure site safety, and drive scheduling and coordination with owners and engineers. This is a field-based role on a high-profile data center site.

Qualified candidates bring 5+ years of commercial construction experience and strong leadership, communication, and document-reading skills. Proficiency with MS Office and Apple devices is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with safety, preconstruction, staff development.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site.
• Maintain project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy.
• Develop and update the project schedule; prepare two-week look ahead schedules.
• Update project schedules utilizing scheduling software.
• Coordinate the work of the subcontractors’ field forces.
• Communicate effectively with owners, designers and engineers.
