Smartlink is seeking a Construction Site Manager II to lead telecom deployment on multi-market projects. You will analyze designs, coordinate with architects and engineers, and ensure on-time, budget-conscious site delivery while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role requires strong construction background, RF and cabling familiarity, and excellent communication with clients and internal teams. Local market alignment is essential.

Qualifications

• AA from an accredited college or 1-2 years in a fast-paced technical field; equivalent combos considered.
• Hands-on construction experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, codes, and local ordinances.
• Experience across telecom deployment scopes.
• Familiarity with RF fundamentals and cabling configurations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and reports.
• Background in civil and electrical construction disciplines.
• Awareness of environmental regulations and remediation best practices.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Open to feedback and able to adapt and grow.
• Good judgment and decisive problem-solving.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills; multitask effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Flexible in dynamic, fast-changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client design, equipment, and specs for accurate implementation.
• Contribute to scoping and design meetings with RF insights.
• Maintain/update internal and client databases with site data.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess conditions and progress.
• Track design and engineering deliverables to align with timelines.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of site deliverables.
• Oversee progress with budget, schedule, and standards.
• Review installation standards and request changes when needed.
• Evaluate contractor bids and cost proposals against scope.
• Coordinate pre-construction handoffs between contractors and real estate.
• Collaborate with architects/engineers to plan optimal strategies.
• Develop material take-offs and BOMs; manage procurement.
• Perform punch walks and compile closeout packages.
• Represent the client in local meetings; maintain professional communication.
