Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to develop and manage Revit BIM models and 2D drawings in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. You will contribute to clash-free 3D models across C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L disciplines and support design deliverables under telecom leads.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of Revit design experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry.
• Growing understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions.
• Growing understanding of design and construction specifications and their function.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam as a markup software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new things.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models in coordination with other discipline BIM leads and team members.
• Create and manage content towards fully coordinated 3D models across all design disciplines and 2D construction drawings.
• Work under the direction of telecom discipline or project leads to produce constructable deliverables including clash-free models.
