Star Construction LLC in Tanner, AL seeks a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials.

You will provide tools and materials, move equipment, complete door-tagging, stock vehicles, and assist with traffic control in all weather. Candidates must be 18+, authorized to work in the US, have a HS diploma or GED or relevant experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience required.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Complete door-tagging and resident notifications before work starts.
• Stock, clean, and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging with shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow per local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and be on-call as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
