Job summary

Star Construction LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an aerial telecom crew in installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables. The role involves handing tools and materials, moving equipment, tagging streets, and working in all weather conditions from a fixed site in Madison, AL.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, authorization to work in the US, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to perform labor tasks in outdoor environments.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this employer.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
