Job summary

Star Construction, LLC, and our Aerial Telecom Crew are seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to assist with installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials. You’ll provide tools, parts, and support to crew members in a fast-paced field environment.

Requirements include being 18+, US work authorization, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to become a pole climber certified. This role offers strong benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Pole climber certification or willingness to become certified
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
