Ervin Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew in installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials. The role is based in Bessemer, AL and involves assisting with field tasks across various weather conditions.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and a willingness to become a certified pole climber. Prior telecom labor experience is a plus, with overtime and travel as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
