Job Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely operate equipment like bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators.
• Maintain safe work areas and ensure smooth traffic flow during work.
• Work safely at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Provide guidance and support to team members.
• Be available to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Willingness to become certified as a pole climber if not already certified.
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred.

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Work with arms above shoulder level, at heights, in confined spaces, and remote locations.
• Operate vehicles and heavy machinery, use ladders, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift objects over 55 pounds.
• Occasionally use keyboard and mouse.

Starting Salary

Range starts at $28/hour based on experience, plus a $2000 sign-on bonus.
