Job summary

AMA TechTel, based in Amarillo, TX, is seeking an Account Executive to join its commercial sales group. You will sell customized telecommunication services to business clients and drive sales goals from Amarillo with nationwide selling opportunities.

The role emphasizes strong negotiation, relationship management, and independent work. A valid driver’s license and three years of outside sales experience are required, with bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years outside sales experience.
• Proficient using Windows-based software applications.
• Strong negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong people and relationship management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
• Ability to analyze accurately with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to comply with all Company safety procedures.
• Appropriate valid driver's license and driving record within Company standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to new and existing accounts.
• Promote and sell AMA's business class Voice, Internet, and Managed Services.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Prospect and generate new sales opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strategic accounts.
• Generate proposals and presentations for potential customers.
• Partner with internal support teams to determine appropriate customer solutions.
• Negotiates pricing, service level, and contract terms with clients.
• Ensure product pricing is consistent with pricing structures set.
• Communicate efficiently with cross functional teams.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout sales cycle.
• Update and maintain customer records in sales tracking tools.
