Job summary

Emerus in Greensburg, PA is seeking an experienced RN for inpatient care in PCU/Step-Down/Tele units. This PRN/Casual Day Shift position focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, strong cardiac and respiratory support skills, and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. BLS/ACLS required; PALS preferred; PA RN license required; Act 33/73 clearances as applicable.

Qualifications

• RN with active state license in Pennsylvania.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related roles.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Fluent English; strong communication skills.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances within 5 years or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific nursing care with clinical expertise.
• Follow physician orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in patient care.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per CLIA policies.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Practice in accordance with state nursing board standards.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as required.
