Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND seeks a Tele Med Surg Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the nursing unit.

You will supervise care per policies and the State Nurse Practice Act, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities include using the nursing process for comprehensive care, meeting educational needs of patients and families, and delegating care based on staff qualifications.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing.
• Active RN license in good standing with ND Board of Nursing or compact state.
• BLS certification within orientation period and recertification as required.
• Good communication skills with patients, families, staff.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Foster a compassionate, healing environment for patients, families, and visitors.
• Adhere to ND State Board of Nursing regulations and applicable standards.
• Use nursing process (planning, assessment, intervention, evaluation) for patient care plans.
• Meet educational needs of patients, families, and coworkers using current literature.
• Delegate nursing care based on staff qualifications and patient needs.
• Protect patients and staff by following infection-control and medication procedures.
• Offer sign-on bonus and relocation assistance to eligible new hires.
