CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, North Dakota, is seeking a Surgical Unit (Acute Care) Registered Nurse to care for adults with post-surgical and acute medical needs in a medical-surgical inpatient unit.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and the Nurse Practice Act. The role requires ND RN licensure or compact state license and BLS certification, with NEW GRADS welcome.

Qualifikationen

• Nursing degree from an approved school.
• NEW GRADS WELCOME!
• Active RN license in North Dakota or a compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult patients with diverse surgical and acute medical needs.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans focusing on post-operative recovery.
• Monitor vitals, interpret labs, and adjust care based on patient response.
• Collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, therapists, case managers for discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and self-care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
