Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson is seeking a Medical-Surgical RN to deliver high-quality, individualized patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will perform assessments, procedures, and care plans while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required ADN with ND RN licensure, BLS CPR at hire, and PALS within 90 days; BSN preferred with 1 year of experience. A $25,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available to eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• ADN required; RN license in ND at hire.
• BLS CPR required at hire; PALS within 90 days.
• BSN preferred with 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient care requirements by establishing rapport and initiating care plans.
• Provides compassionate emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Promotes independence by teaching patients and families about conditions, medications and self-care.
• Adheres to standards of care and regulatory requirements to assure quality of care.
• Resolves patient problems through multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Follows infection control and medication handling policies.
