Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica is seeking a SAMOHI Site Coordinator to mentor teens ages 13–18, nurture relationships, grow club membership, and create a welcoming environment that supports academic success, leadership, and career exploration.

You will collaborate with Youth Development staff, the Workforce Readiness team, and community partners to design engaging programs, lead outreach efforts, and plan events.

Qualifications

• Experience with older youth and teens, outreach and engagement, case management, relationship-building, and facilitation of inclusive, engaging programming.
• Design and implement age-appropriate programming and curriculum that supports teen voice and development.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with Teams, Zoom, Excel, PowerPoint, and case management software.
• Demonstrates integrity, adaptability, emotional intelligence, and positive role modeling.
• Experience with diverse populations and creating welcoming, inclusive environments.
• Ability to build partnerships with nonprofit organizations, school districts, colleges, universities, and community partners.
• Proven teen recruitment and engagement experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred; flexible schedule including evenings/weekends; background screening, TB testing, CPR/First Aid, and trainings as required.

Responsabilités

• Create positive relationships with teen members and ensure safety.
• Develop outreach strategies for brand awareness and recruitment.
• Plan field trips, cultural activities, workshops, and civic engagement projects.
• Collaborate with Workforce Readiness to increase teen programming and post-graduation opportunities.
• Design emotionally intelligent, age-appropriate programming for academic, recreational, and enriching activities.
• Track grant data and case notes as needed.
• Plan and lead special projects and events for teens.
