Job summary

YMCA of the USA is seeking a Teen Coordinator in Boston to help develop and run teen programs and clubs. The role includes supervising activities, recruiting and retaining teen participants, and ensuring smooth program delivery while modeling core character traits.

The position requires 21+ years old with at least one year in youth work, a high school diploma, and completion of required trainings within 90 days. Schedule is part-time with flexible daytime/evening/weekend needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in youth development or working with teens.
• Experience in program management including recruitment, resource allocation, program delivery and execution.
• High School Degree required.
• Child Abuse Prevention training within 90 days of employment; CPR/AED and First Aid within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop teen programs and clubs and supervise activities.
• Recruit, retain and support teen participants and volunteers.
• Implement YMCA teen programs with fidelity and quality.
• Facilitate small group activities for teens.
• Model and reinforce character traits: responsibility, caring, honesty, and respect.
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for all youth.
