Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking an Education Specialist to oversee teen programs at assigned Clubhouse locations. You will plan, develop, and report on programs in collaboration with the Programs team, and assist with daily operations and clubhouse supervision as needed.

You will mentor youth, promote engagement, and ensure program standards and safety. This role requires strong leadership, reliable teamwork, and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic club setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization working with middle school and/or high school aged youth.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google suite of productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to deal effectively with multi-age groups of children, small groups of children in activities and free play, and large groups of children in organized activities.
• Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with the public, families, Youth Development Professionals, and members.
• Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety, well-being, and output of others.

Responsabilités

• Plan, create, and oversee the administration of teen programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes.
• Establish teen program objectives through collaboration with the Programs team.
• Oversee day-to-day program activities and ensure grant compliance.
• Mentor members and enforce standards for conduct and safety.
• Promote and communicate programs and events to members and families.
• Assist with retention and recruitment of members through outreach efforts.
• Ensure cleanliness and safe operation of Clubhouse areas and assist staff as needed.
• Work with staff to foster a positive environment and participate in all clubhouse duties.
