Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of Olympia (LP Brown Branch) is seeking a Youth Development Professional to lead after-school programs for middle and high school students. This part-time role focuses on safe, engaging activities, mentorship, and community outreach to recruit participants.

You will plan and deliver Homework help, art projects, field trips, and healthy lifestyle activities, supervise spaces, and collaborate with families, staff, and partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience working with youth and community partners.
• Mandatory CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, marketing, and delivery of programs for Club members.
• Plan and implement activities for grades 6-12 (homework help, art, field trips).
• Deliver age-appropriate programs; elementary coverage may occur occasionally.
• Actively supervise areas to promote a safe, positive environment.
• Attend branch staff meetings and mandatory trainings.
