Job summary

City of Raleigh is seeking a Program Analyst for the St. Monica Teen Center. This role plans, coordinates, and delivers engaging teen programs and events while fostering a welcoming, safe environment where teens feel valued and supported.

You will build relationships with teens, families, schools, and community partners, supervise staff, and manage operations, budgeting, and data reporting to drive positive youth development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Leisure Activities, Physical Education, Sports/Athletics, Therapeutic Recreation or related field.
  • 1–3 years' experience in recreation program or related work.
  • Valid North Carolina Driver's License or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, leads, and manages innovative teen programs, camps, and events.
  • Coordinates teen programming with schools, partners, and contracted vendors.
  • Oversees daily operations of the St. Monica Teen Center and registrations.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate staff.
  • Operates and maintains the Mobile Recreation Unit (MRU) for events.
  • Provides leadership and creates a positive team culture.
  • Oversee facility operations, safety, and risk management.
  • Manages budgeting, purchasing, payroll, and data reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with teens and families and gather feedback.
  • Develops community partnerships to expand opportunities for teens.
  • Leads outreach to increase awareness and participation.
